Nurture Community Walks
Free weekly walks for mothers + babies in Lake Balboa
A place to walk. A place to exhale. A place to begin finding your people.
Motherhood asks so much of us—and yet so many mothers are doing it without the everyday community that generations before us often had around them.
Nurture Community Walks are our small way of changing that.
Every Tuesday morning, mothers and babies are invited to gather outside, move their bodies, have real conversations, and slowly begin building relationships with other women who are in this season too.
There is no curriculum to follow.
No pressure to participate in a certain way.
And nothing you need to accomplish.
Just come as you are.
What happens on a Nurture Walk?
We’ll gather for a few minutes of gentle grounding—a chance to arrive, breathe, notice your baby and settle into the morning together.
I’ll offer a simple conversation invitation inspired by the themes we explore in our Pregnancy and Mother & Baby Nurture Circles.
And then…we walk.
Talk with another mother. Push your stroller. Wear your baby. Listen. Laugh. Ask a question. Share what’s going well—or what’s really hard right now.
Or simply enjoy being outside around people who understand this season of life.

Why community matters
One of the beautiful messages within nurture neuroscience is that none of us develops in isolation.
Babies grow within relationships. Their developing nervous systems are shaped through thousands of ordinary moments of being held, seen, heard, comforted, and responded to.
But mothers need nurturing, too.
We regulate in relationship with one another. Feeling seen, supported, and less alone matters for us—and when mothers are supported, they have more capacity to offer that same sense of safety and connection to their babies.
Sometimes nurturing the mother can be surprisingly simple:
A familiar face.
A walk outside.
A conversation where you don’t have to explain everything.
Someone who remembers your baby’s name.
Knowing there is somewhere you can show up next Tuesday.
That’s the point of these walks.
The goal is belonging.
This isn’t a class or workshop, and you don’t need to be a current Confidence in Birth client to join us.
You don’t have to know anyone.
And your baby certainly doesn’t have to be having a “good day.”
Come with the stroller.
Wear your baby.
Bring your coffee.
Come tired, happy, uncertain, grateful, overwhelmed—or somewhere in between.
You and your baby are welcome here.
Inspired by The Nurture Revolution
These gatherings are inspired by the relationship-centered principles explored in Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum’s The Nurture Revolution and woven throughout our Pregnancy and Mother & Baby Nurture Circles.
At the heart of this work is something both beautifully simple and deeply important:
Babies need nurturing relationships. And so do their mothers.
We don’t have to do motherhood solo.
Come walk with us.
